Dazzle on the road

Paulien's goal for this drawing was to create a drawing that is both aesthetically pleasing when glancing at it from a distance, but at the same time, an artwork where you can get lost in the details. 

"Ever since I was a little girl, I loved Equidae. I've spent hours and hours drawing horses, in every colour and position imaginable. But for this artwork, I wanted to do something a little different. The way the skin and muscles of a zebra work are very similar to horses. Yet it brings this extra challenge to tackle all the stripes."
